Hi Geno,
I just stumbled over Hook2XMPP and was immediately reminded on
xmpp-webhook
.I have the impression that you have some similarities in your projects and maybe it would make sense to join efforts or at least mention in the readme what the differences, regarding your aims, are.
I started to develop this tool before somethink else like xmpp-webhook exists.
So i do not know which is exactly different.
It looks like xmpp-webhook has no support for prometheus and gitlab,
So if you like it to find out and create a MergeRequest for the
README.md
with related project.I will merge it.
Thank you for the fast response!
IMHO
xmpp-webhook
has compatibility for "Slack webhooks" and I guess there's nearly no service which hasn't Slack webhook support yet.Does this mean that you wouldn't consider to merge those projects?
In the past slack was able to create a XMPP gateway (and IRC) ... but yes, that is a feature which
hook2xmpp
does not has.I am willing to merge that projects, ATM i has not to much time + the current state works for my purpose.
